I think the term they’d be looking for is finger-tighten. As in screw whatever it is in with your hand until you can’t get enough grip, and then go back later with a tool and properly tighten the screws

This right here is exactly why I barely passed my upper level graphic design classes in college.. I even asked for help/ asked questions, but no matter how hard I tried my professor was always so clearly disappointed on presentation day bc apparently I was always missing something or a few times I completely misinterpreted the assignment. I haven’t been officially diagnosed with autism but the more I visit this community the more I wonder…

I think they’re missing the word “over”. Do not over tighten them.
