Sorry this is embarrassing but…how do you floss? Can I start w the picks and work my way up? Idk how to get the movement right with just string wrapped around my fingers

Biggest life hack for me is to eat popcorn, get the kernels stuck in my teeth, and then dig them out with floss — makes flossing feel way more appealing

i prefer to use the string version but picks are great if that’s not accessible to you! i just wrap the string around a couple of fingers on my right hand a couple times to get it there and then hold it about an inch or two away and put that between my teeth. i’d look up tutorials on tiktok or youtube or wikihow for flossing, but the picks are always better than not flosssing!!

Yes thats how I started! You can start with kid picks then adult picks then finally the string floss. I stopped using picks cause theyre non recycleable, you should be able to figure it out in a month or so.

If you’re worried about the environment (which everyone should be!) I’ve used a reusable floss pick before and they’re great! I used the Quip brand one. You have a solid pick and you clip in some new floss string on it. Super easy to clip on and take off once you get the hang of it. Only drawback is needing to clean it between uses (I would rinse and soap it down, dip it in iso alcohol, shake off, and let dry).
