I’m 22 with epilepsy, so I’m legally not allowed to drive right now. I use the transportation system called “Access”, and it’s so embarrassing for me. I look “normal” so I feel like people will talk shit abt me. I just wish I could drive.

invisible disabilities are just as important as visible ones!!! just cuz u dont “look” the part doesnt take away from the care u need and deserve. period end of story. use your care to ur advantage to get where u need just like everyone else

Maybe there will be more freedom in your future? I hate the CEO, but I am leasing a Tesla Model Y with full self driving and it is such a relief from an accessibility standpoint (I have ADHD and this makes me much safer especially when my meds are wearing off at the end of the day). Best wishes for you OP 🫂

I am definitely staying alert at all times while on it. I don’t trust it, but when my meds are wearing off I trust myself even less to not space out. So this helps as a safety net.

Also I didn’t mean for my response to sound so defiant. I hear you #3 and agree with you!
