I know! And thats why they have like certain stereotypes. They use descriptors to make conclusions, and then judge people on the basis of these conclusions that they dont know to be true. —- But so many people operate by the descriptors proving the conclusions to be true, so thats why they assume

yeah i have been hyperaware of this since childhood bc as a black woman you’re simply not allowed to not put substantial effort into your appearance if you don’t want to be treated poorly 24/7

first part definitely, second part is because of the lack of proper diagnosis for them when they were children. some people misuse self-diagnosis, but that’s a natural byproduct of disability activists succeeding in making discussions on mental disorders less taboo
