yikes i’m sorry!! nothing wrong with cognitive / developmental disabilities in the first place obviously, but having people speculate about you behind your back is alienating as hell

Thanks. Sadly it’s not the first job where people have negatively speculated about me, but it’s definitely the case where the nastiest things have been said. Not much I can do at this point.

you can leave. i mean it, don't waste your time and energy trying to convince people you're not dumb, stoned or drunk. if they don't get you now they never will. i wish i would have learned to know when to leave a longggg time ago, with friends, jobs, relationships, ect. jus live your best life and find more positive people who understand you to spend your day with

I wish I could. But this is the first decent* job that I could get since I was laid off nearly a year ago. If I were to leave this job, god knows how long it’ll be before I can find another job in this hell of a market. I don’t plan on being here forever, and I have started looking for another job WHILE staying at this company in the mean time
