this is going to seem unhelpful and silly perhaps but… Steven Universe genuinely helped me with interpersonal relationships, including and especially family that you’re inextricably linked with.

Commenting because I suffer these same feelings. There’s also resentment that’s built up from the fact that I’m related to them. Most of it is towards my parents, which has led to me resenting the fact I even exist because of them 😭

It’s honestly soooo good. The story is really amazing, I just wish Cartoon Network didn’t force them to end it a season early so the final episodes are extremely fast-paced to wrap up the story smh. The movie is fun and the one season of Future is a pretty nice continuation that is a more formal and sweet goodbye to the network.
