I have these episodes where my entire nervous system is in fight or flight. Anything emotional / anxiety inducing can trigger them. It’s entirely physical. They last days. It eats away at me every time and I don’t know how to stop it

The same thing happens to me and I hate it. Oddly enough I usually feel extra confident for a day after a multi-day episode and then fall back to baseline the following day

don’t know if this’ll help, but you can try to reactive your parasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest system, while sympathetic is fight or flight). breathe in and then make the motion of breathing out but don’t actually breathe out, kind of like you’re trying to push out air but don’t let yourself. my therapist taught me to do this during exams when I start going into fight or flight & it really helps to ground me <3 best of luck I hope you’re able to get it figured out and feel better!!
