Bc a pot (think like a cauldron) is a black thing, and kettles in the day were also black, so it’s like calling someone else out on shit that you’re doing, like ‘way to be hypocritical’

this, but also not just literally tge color black as if that’s bad, but black at in covered in soot or dirty. The implication is pointing out someone doing something wrong(kinda) while also doing something similar
