so i’m at walmart and the radio just said that their beginning “sensory friendly hours” until 10am?? and their not playing their radio, like it’s just quiet😯 i did not realize that was a thing, ive never been in walmart this early
I also think they dim the lights for it don’t quote me tho

Oh shit they actually do the bare minimum? My Walmart has a sign about that and I thought they just labeled their slowest times “sensory friendly” for a check box item or some shit.

not from what i’ve seen, it’s just the radio that’s off but at that time it’s a lot slower and everything so at least auditory sensory stuff is minimal

as far as i know, it’s a company wide thing. they shut off the radio from 8 am to 10 am, and some stores dim the lights
