Stressful small talk is the worst . If it happens naturally that’s one thing, but when one person is forcing it it’s so fucking bad

I think that this is true, but small talk does let you know little things about the other person and deepen friendships! I can’t only have deep useful conversations, it’s nice to just shoot the shit and talk with ppl for fun (even if there’s no direct ’reason’) I got comfy with it by treating it as future conversation fuel
