I do the same thing. I pick at any loose skin. The only solution I have devised is to put bandaids over the loose skin. But that gets expensive fast. I also started to try to use more lotion to stop it from happening in the first place

I’m allergic to adhesive so can’t use bandaids. I actually got what I do from someone on here a while ago, which is to buy rubber finger thimble things to cover my fingers. They’re reusable too so as long as you don’t lose them often it shouldn’t be expensive. I also pick at socks if I really need to pick something.
