Mom! The doctors office is being mean and won’t let me have you talk to them, despite you knowing a lot more about what’s going on and needed, on top of being able to communicate it better than I can.

I work as an interpreter in a call centre so it’s the opposite for me. My mom HATES phone calls but I am so used to them that I make some of her calls. Even to the non-emergency services she needs. From across the country. And I’ll keep doing it, happily.

A lot of doctor’s offices won’t talk to people other than the patient at all without a release form signed.
