The best way to learn is behind the wheel, like in an empty parking lot. But if you’re not ready for that yet, start watching your friends/family when they are in the drivers seat and notice how they turn, back up etc. You can even directly ask them how they do it and how they learned.

car dependency sucks. it’s really shitty that everyone feels forced to drive just to be a functioning member of society in most of north america. it’s not freedom if it’s contingent on you owning an expensive and deadly vehicle

Try to see if you can find drivers Ed anywhere near you or just a learn to drive company or something like that!

It’s okay! Driving is an important skill and ppl know that- it’s admirable that u are taking initiative to make sure u learn how to drive, not embarrassing at all
