i have the opposite issue where people see it as a “condition” but don’t believe it actually disables me :(

Idk everytime I “forget” I have it I turn a corner and then it just hits me like a ton of bricks

totally fair! For most of my life I felt this way and didnt find it disabling at all! now days however due to a condtion i more recently aquires my adhd definitely disables/greatly impacts my life! combine the impulsively with brain fog from acondition you get a wondeful combination

Same. Everyone thinks it’s just a quirk but I’m genuinely disabled by it

yeah everyone ignores the fact that it is literally a disorder and then treats the symptoms like moral failures 😃
