Neurodivergent on Yik Yak | Do yall ever think about how humans are kinda the weirdest looking primates. Like other ones have some ridiculous physical features but they all look way more similar to each other than we look to them. We’re like the only FULLY bipedal ones too.

especially with our extremely unique hair. like wyd we’re 90% hairless, but can grow hair on our heads multiple feet long 😭

I think we’ve just really evolved to be that way. We leaned into our bipedalism for persistent hunting so we could outrun our prey which is honestly fairly smart. “Survival of the fittest” seemed to really be based in our intelligence. Also due to this reason that we were always running, we didn’t need hair to protect our what was then pink skin as much anymore. When we really began to run, we’d sweat bullets which would cool us off, whereas we needed our fur in the past to actually protect us

Yea very true cause like that level of selective hairiness is super odd for the animal kingdom😭 Also we’re just weirdly smooth and soft compared to other primates?
