do some research into it yourself first, imo i wouldn’t jump straight to an exam without researching the topic and closely examining how those may be in your life

look for psychiatrists or psychologists who specialize in diagnosing/treating autism and neurodivergence in your area. if they have experience diagnosing adults that’s preferable

the evaluations are very expensive, just as a fyi. but if you think it's worth it to get you resources than by all means go for it

does it bother you? if there things you think you’d benefit from in terms of therapy/medications/accommodations then totally seek it out, but otherwise it’s just a money sink.
