There are so many things i want to study and I want to do. I want to be an EMT I want to work in a lab I want to be a teacher I want to be an environmental scientist I want to be an epidemiologist and a thousand other things. I wdym have to choose one???

Not all of these are mutually exclusive, if you are interested in academia for example then you could be teaching and working in a lab doing environmental or epidemiology research; many people work or volunteer as firefighters/emts while also having a more primary job. Ask yourself what is merely interesting to you vs. what actually feels exciting and like you want to devote a lot of your life to it. And plenty of people switch careers anyways

you can be an emt and something else at the same time (and you might have to bc base pay sucks). a lot of people do that part time with school too or volunteer. idk ur school situation but lab work would be in environmental science and epidemiology, you can teach/TA as a grad student, etc. so maybe eventually you would have to choose one but there’s definitely time to do all sorts of things before you choose, and you can always go back and choose something else

sorry if this isn’t relevant to u, i just remember feeling the same way and eventually realizing that a lot of my interests still relate to each other, and that grad school is always an option in case i want to try something different
