Its prolly not gonna fix it but it helps fs
Morning jog 1) improves my focus and executive functioning slightly, so I do it 2) won’t cure me so give me my damn Adderall script
It really does actually, starting to run was what initially got me off my self harm addiction and has gotten me off with every relapse
I knoooow it’s supposed to help but I don’t waaaaaaaanna 😫 I have yet to find a form of exercise that I don’t abjectly hate
unironically something that helped me was pokemon go’s “routes” feature. got me to go on regular walks around a pond and it really did help
it doesn't fix it for me but it makes me feel much better about myself
Now if only exercise didn’t flare up my chronic pain, I’d love to do more than just walking short distances and my pt exercises 😭

Wow you’re doing amazing !! mine has been on and off for around 7 years, the longest I’ve gone without is like a year and a half
This is one of the reasons I love having a dog, I have no choice but to walk every morning with her, cause otherwise I get barked at nonstop 😂
Literally going for a walk makes my back hurt after 2 minutes because of my chronic back problems so I understand 😭🥀
Tolerating discomfort can be the point, it’s like a form of meditation. I recommend trying the app Just Run
