I’m autistic (and OCD) and have recently discovered how much I suck and transitioning from task/task or room/room. Especially when I’m sat. I’m also experiencing an uptick in sensory sensitivity… Any advice folks?

Set a timer and/or make a (short) transition routine

give yourself a countdown for 10 seconds when you realize you’re stuck. do a stretch or two. even if you do something lightly productive you’ll feel better. you can also just let out a battle cry as you hop up when you realize. your preference

Ha! I like that… it’s very jarring for my senses, that just might help me ease into it. Or alternatively, lean into the jarring aspect lol
