If I actually like the person or get tired of being confused I just straight out ask “are you flirting with me?” “Are you attracted to me in a romantic sense?”. It’s worked in the past… but in the sense that we dated and have remained together, but that we talked with one another for a while and that I will always have love for him…. I talk too much or type ig in this case
