To the people here that hate the reason for the holiday but love the fireworks, just celebrate the anniversary of caesar salad (invented July 4 1924) with fireworks. Eat the salad too, it’s tasty.

As a Native American, I hate why Fourth of July happens, but god damn do I love to light fireworks and watch them. So I just celebrate my friends birthday with Fourth of July stuff.

One of my coworkers is Native American and he doesn’t give a shit about the holiday or why it happens. His family calls it firework day. They just like the excuse to shoot off some fireworks, it’s fun to blow shit up legally
