I can’t explain it, but this drives me up the wall. Have attention spans become so cooked that we can’t even focus on a single source of entertainment? I get so distracted by it that I can’t fully enjoy the movie. I usually watch by myself to avoid this

i had a friend that insisted on seeing my favorite movies but admittedly could never sit through them. we’re not friends any longer lol. i don’t mind pausing for breaks but don’t just get up and leave the room or get on your phone??

I like being able to talk about whatever media I’m watching with a friend. That’s shows focus a lot more than just dissociating toward a screen.

It’s different for each person, all are valid, they just don’t mix well lol U gotta know what your friends will do and act accordingly, which might mean not watching movies with them and that’s ok
