Ok this probably doesn’t seem like that big of a thing in reality but I just finished my resume and got it under 2 pages and I needed to tell people bc I’m so proud of myself yall have no idea… it’s always been this big overwhelming thing for my adhd
For context I’ve been putting this off for the past 3 years and haven’t been able to even think about doing it bc it’s been so overwhelming and it took me a month after I graduated but it’s done and I’m so happy 🙂↕️

I’m the same way. The only way I narrows it down was to use a template. Then people told me my resume was too fancy. But my last job interview I got multiple compliments from all the interviewers so ☺️☺️☺️☺️

Side note, if you putting resumes through some form of online submission (especially for big companies) they use AI filters. I’d recommend an online template of one page, it doesn’t help you stand out but it does get past AI

Just make sure that the AI scanners can read it and you’re fine.

Typically AIs don’t read the resumes themselves, they read the copied information in the application lol. Hell some places have even stopped accepting resumes and only do the application bs for that reason

Wow. Thanks for mentioning this. I didn’t realize.
I would lose my mind if I had to manually fill in all that shit. Applying for jobs is WAAYYYYYYY too time consuming already. It’s like slow torture.
