Is it an autism problem with transitions thing to decide not to go out even though you really want to because getting ready to go out requires too much energy?

and frankly as a physically disabled person I can’t help but think about that being a common ramification of past covid infections but also, I think that in general, a lot of neurodivergent people experience chronic fatigue in a way that isn’t properly named or recognized as such by the medical institution. cause we tend to know that we can have limited energy, but since psychs don’t frequently use the word “fatigue” re: neurodivergence, that isn’t validated as like, a physiological fact

it’s one of those things where I worry that the way medical professionals frame our experiences (as neurodivergent people) back to us may involve a degree of “it’s just in your head!” as opposed to taking the mind-body connection (i.e. mental exhaustion is a physical phenomenon too) seriously sorry to be long-winded lol, hope that made sense
