In the west I’m just sad online that I can’t go to their concerts or stage plays and it’s not popular at conventions, here I can talk to pretty much any anime fan my age and they’ll know about it, and I’m making JP friends over it, and they’re inviting me to conventions and want to talk to me about it, like I can’t do ANY of this back home! 😭 I sound like an ultra weeb but I’m seriously so much happier being able to engage in it regularly!
