Like good thing, but honestly if that was a legit concern, maybe time to talk to somebody about solving that before it happens again and puts you in a similar situation.

Autism? Depression? In less than a month?

I mean PMDD is more common in autistic people who have menstrual cycles so it very well could be controlled if they got the right medication protocol/therapies for it

I mean depression/period are definitely symptomatic conditions they have meds to treat, even if it’s only on an as needed basis. My mental health suffered for a tremendously long time, before I sought out help, and I can promise it does get better! ❤️‍🩹

I’m already on antidepressants and my depression is manageable normally, it’s the periods that get me bad

I’ve talked to my doctor about birth control before but I’m just not sure if that’s the right choice for me. I should go back to therapy though

Therapy is always a good choice if you can find a good one. Also, yeah the reason I responded like that about the idea of “fixing” anything is bc I tried a lot of options to manage it, and a lot of the times it just made it worse and I had other health issues related to several forms of hormonal birth control. So like. If it can be helped that’s great, sometimes you have to figure out how to just cope though.

This is anecdotal, but birth control really helped me a lot. I wish you best of luck with treatment even if you choose not to go on it though. There are many types and options.
