Depends on the person.

Yeah people with autism tend to be more direct and literal. Doesn't mean we're incapable of sarcasm and satire or completely unable to recognize it. But they don't come naturally and would have to be learned/practiced or prepared ahead of time (scripts)

like #1 said it depends but a big aspect of autism for many is impaired social cues.

entirely depends. i pick it up very well personally but i know people who do not
