YES! for me it’s cptsd-related. like, familiarity is seductive even when the time period I associate with the thing in question was solidly a bad time

i heard on and on playing in the background of a nail art compilation and it brought me back to like 2018 when i was very depressed and not in a good position with my parents but like it still felt weird good
