That’s my biggest problem with talking to ppl. I always ask questions in a way that makes it sound like an interview when I just want to encourage the other to talk about themselves 😭

Nah why are these comments making it seem like you’re the problem for asking interview questions- 90% of the time when I feel like that it’s because whoever I’m talking to refuses to ask ME something and THATS why it feels like an interview

it might be the type of questions youre asking, try to engage in their answers instead of trying to find out more right away

tbh that doesn’t sound like your fault at all. if the person wasn’t equally asking you questions and you felt that you had to force engagement, they were a bad date!

Maybe it would feel less like an interview if you volunteered your own responses to your questions, either before or after you ask them, cause that way at least it’s two ways
