as odd as this sounds, and i’m not trying to defend him in any way, but this hasn’t been studied nearly enough. they need to look into what the mother is consuming during fetal development, for all disorders/diseases/disabilities. like medications for example, we don’t truly know what some medications may do to a baby in development while mom take them. it may do absolutely nothing, it might be the root cause, or it may lead to higher chances of complications, disabilities, diseases, and-

I know, but feeding this rhetoric to his supporters and people who wouldn’t otherwise know better is beyond dangerous

-disorders diagnosed in the womb, at birth, or any other time during life. even foods too. like what artificial ingredients is the mom consuming that already have affect on disorders like ADHD, what else could that cause? i’m not sure if that makes sense in the slightest to anyone else, but it does to me

Yes but the fact that he’s just like “100% artificial” with no research is just pushing ableism and I know you know that since you said you’re not defending him, but I also feel like everyone here knows that it has not been researched enough

well he never really said “100% artificial” he said artificially induced. which is what my point was originally explaining

also, here’s a source explaining all of it song OP only put a title of a source. how trustworthy it is, i have no clue. there’s not many articles on it yet since its a new topic: https://www.newsnationnow.com/politics/trump-autism-artificially-induced-claim/amp/

I meant he is pushing that that’s the fact. He means it as 100%

how do you know what someone means if they didn’t say it. read the article first. bc OP gives no context in the slightest, the article actually quotes stuff

Yeah i did read it and it says that he said it *has* to be artificially induced

He literally had a presser last night saying that it’s artificially induced. Also, I think that the headline itself is pretty self explanatory. If you want to read the Hill article and listen to the presser itself and come to your own interpretation go ahead

Look, regardless, this is an ableist attack on the autistic and neurodivergent community, and none of should have to put up with this shit

did you only read the parts you felt like reading? not the part that i say idk how trustworthy that source is bc there’s not many articles out yet about this topic since it’s new? woah 😱 it’s almost like if you read you’ll learn something

I read every damn word. The thing is, it’s not new. RFK has pushed this narrative for decades, and there’s been nothing to back it up. Let me remind you that he’s not a scientist or a doctor, he’s a lawyer who’s only in this for the money and the power. He’s batshit insane, so is Trump, which is why he was appointed. Birds of a feather…

It’s very much an ableist attack. They’re saying that something is wrong. Actual Trump quote btw! Listen to any fucking presser that he’s had about this. There’s nothing wrong with being autistic or neurodivergent, but they keep pushing this as an epidemic, when in reality it’s just a naturally occurring disorder.

how do we know if it’s naturally occurring or not if there’s not enough research done? you can’t make a claim when there’s not a 100% sure answer to back it up. there’s no 100% sure answer for any causation for any disorder

Also, I’m so far out there? Says the person that’s pushing this conspiracy bullshit in a neurodivergent community. I think you’re looking for the Qanon Facebook group, want me to send you the link?

Yes, however, he doesn’t associate himself with the neurodivergent community unless he needs to use his diagnosis as a scapegoat

just bc scientists haven’t found a definitive answer for the causation of autism doesn’t mean it’s artificially induced are you actually that dense? it’s a condition that has existed ever since us humans did, do you really think humans had the technology to “create” autism back then? tf kinda logic
