I think weed used to make me feel hungrier so I’d actually eat. Now I don’t have access to it anymore (TX) and I don’t want to eat really anymore. I feel nauseous at the thought of food and I just don’t feel hunger pains. Anyone else deal with this?

So essentially, cannabis binds to CB1 receptors in the brain, which affects the hypothalamus, in turn causing the munchies. but when you quit, the CB1 receptors are so used to being overly packed with endocannabinoids that they react much less noticeably, leading to a loss of appetite. So long story short, if you quit you’ll be good in like 3 weeks.

Important to note also sometimes it can take a little longer than three weeks if you were super heavy user. And using any at all during that period will reset it. Reattempting (and failing) a tbreak again right now

Also super important you hydrate more during this time since your body is gonna be going through a bit of a cleanse and with it getting less food you will in turn get less hydration. glass of water each morning when you wake up, with at least a couple more within hours after i found helped me eventually have a small appetite around the mid to late afternoon. Warn the stomach up for some volume with a light meal

You’re blowing my mind rn - this explains so many weird physical things I’ve been feeling this past week 😭😭😭

Of course!! I’m not sure if it’s good advice, but I find since I’m rarely hungry now, it’s easier to eat whenever is convenient instead of sticking to conventional meal times, because otherwise I’d just forget to eat for days😅

I literally do the same thing I eat when my body is telling me Im hungry, and I also eat what my body doesn’t get sick at the thought, smell, or sight of the food Im about to eat
