just talked to my stepmom about my being autistic (i got diagnosed on my own without previously telling anyone) and she immediately went “yeah, i figured. you’re dad definitely is too btw” i love her

You can do this?? I haven’t gotten diagnosed cuz I thought they needed my parents testimony of how I was as a child and my mom will lie to get people to think I’m NT

Stop i was telling my stepmom that it was recommended i get tested for autism and she went “yeah you totally are, your dad is too” so ok twin😭

It depends on who you see, some practitioners will give you a harder time but a lot will hear you out

yeah there are a bunch of other factors, but because i’m 18 they got testimony from other people aside from my parents because i made it clear i didn’t want them informed because of personal circumstances
