not to hit you with the “erm well actually ☝️🤓”, no smugness intended, but this reply kinda puzzles me. cause for one, extreme brutality against a colonized country’s politician, committed by the colonizer army, is in no way separable from the colonization itself. it’s all the same operation. and for two, violence is Inherent to colonization, so an act like this doesn’t constitute an outlier
