How do I pull myself out of a spiral??? All I wanna do is sleep by my brain says "WERE GONNA HYPERFIXATE ON YOUR PAST AND YOUR MISTAKES" and I've just been laying in bed for like 30 mins just losing my mind. Heeeelllppppppppp 😭😭😭😭😭

sometimes i tell myself that “it’s in the past, and my brains just bringing it up now to throw it out.” kind of like looking through old photos or items you no longer need when you do a deep clean. it’s silly, but it helps me feel less overwhelmed & frustrated by the lack of sleep / embarrassing thoughts
