Attempting to start a Google calendar so I can organize all the events I have going on these next few weeks!! (I will update if I got some of it done!!)

When I add stuff to my calendar I like to not only color-code similar events, but have a specific pattern for special notes in every title. For example, instead of writing “Friend Hangout” I’ll write “Friend Hangout {Bring Food} [Isaac] (Luigi’s Pizza)” so I can easily check what an event is, special notes, who, and where without needing to remember anything or even needing to look at the calendar notes to see it all!! Normally I only use the () to show the location, sometimes I’ll use [], and

rarely {}. And I always put them in the same pattern with {} first, then [], then (). If I ever exclude anything I can just keep the order the same like “Grab Meal {Bring Wallet} (Luigi’s Pizza)”

For really important events I also like to add a full-day reminder and the reminder showing the event time. That way it pops out first and I know it’s coming in case it’s later in the day where I could miss it on accident when glancing at my calendar
