It’s because (most) neurotypicals don’t want to come to an understanding about why you did what you did they want you to shut up and plead for forgiveness

I literally had a 1:1 with my new manager and one of the things was “what’s one misunderstanding people have about you” and I literally put over explaining and that people call it making excuses when I’m just trying to help them understand why I did something that way I did it.
