Have a pop it toy or if you have a dog that sheds a lot and has a double coat, pluck the double coat out by hand instead of brushing it out

I use bandaids to get rid of the visual temptation and use a fidget or draw

I second bandaids. Just covering it up can help sometimes and then I try keeping my hands busy with something else
