Does anyone else have a family who views everything you do for them as an obligation but everything they do for you as a favor. It makes it so they constantly make me feel like I’m indebted to them and guilt trip me when I say no to things.

I don’t personally, but I’ve heard that’s a thing in some families and I think it’s not right. Imo, having a child is taking on the obligation to provide basic necessities and for them, and that’s something they willingly took on by having a child.
