I struggled for years. The pressure and responsibility behind the wheel was so nerve wracking. Finally got my license at 21. I’m 23 now and feel so comfortable driving!

I just got my learner’s permit for the second time earlier today.

Yep. I’m about to drive 45 min home at 1am after a party, and I’ve already convinced myself that I’m gonna crash and die tonight for no reason. And that happens every time I drive lol but I’ve never been in an accident. Always on the verge of exploding with anxiety

Really slow, I’ve only been on an actual road twice for a brief moment and I’m having a really hard time getting the hang of turns

Honestly idk because I know I wouldn’t be able to afford to live in a place like that unless I could drive to a well paying job

Yeah, affordability’s an issue, particularly these days. I would say hustle try to get a well-paying hobby in the city. Idk if that’s doable for ur career field

Honestly, exposure. I grew up in the country so there were a lot of backroads I could drive on without worrying too much about dealing with other cars, then I got up to driving 3 hours to see my sister, then I moved to Boston where I had to drive through the city every day for school🤣

update: just made it home and did not actually crash and die. This experience will be added to my data set however it will not ease my anxieties
