where most of my courses are hours long discussions where 50% of my grade is participation. and bc this isn’t something i don’t have strong accommodations for yet it’s making me look poorly educated in front of all my peers when ik what the material is, but i can’t follow along properly in discussions, my turns to speak i literally lose all my thoughts instantly. plus just dealing with this on top of all of my course loads ughhhh get me out

Can you get any accommodations related to class participation? I have one where the professor is not allowed to call on me in class. I also have an accommodation to get class slides ahead of time which helps me so I can see discussion questions, etc ahead of time. I do have autism though so getting the accommodations was not overly difficult. I’m not sure your situation
