Me: nah. I’m probably not autistic just an awkward introvert. Also me: *compulsively takes the RAAADS-R every few months with an average of 135.75* Me, again: it’s just a coincidence it’s close to the mean score of autistic people. Obviously.

Why don’t you talk to a professional?

since there’s not really a pharmaceutical treatment for autism i say just accommodate yourself like you have it (if you aren’t already). it can’t hurt. like even if i don’t have it it’s helped me so much it’s been life saving honestly.

My insurance just got destroyed my the government and in trying to work with my therapist about it (getting over rings from bullying, fear of Drs. Making fun of me, etc.) I’m not taking an online test that seriously, but it is a small point I’m adding to the journey until I’m ready for a diagnosis and the steps leading to that :~}

I have ! I do get embarrassed to admit I use headphones for my noise sensitivity, but unlike online, people irl do not care which has helped me a lot. And I have about 60lbs of weighted items I sleep with or use to ground myself after long days :~} might invest in some sunglasses for bright stores

i love to hear that 😊 nothing wrong with feeling comfortable when you have the opportunity. life is too hard already to deny your sensory needs
