
DBT, learning to recognize the signs you are getting upset so you can leave the situation, practicing impulse control, substituting what you say. I used to yell horrible things when I was upset. Death threats, cussing people out, etc. If I am unable to leave the situation, I still can’t stop myself from yelling, but I’ve learned to yell “you’re mean” instead of “f*ck you b*tch I hope you die a painful death.” It takes time and practice though.
