Just had my second appointment with my psychiatrist to talk about screening for bipolar. She wants me to take some time to research the medications and symptoms before we continue. What’s a good place to start?
mayo clinic has some info, same with goodrx. i don’t think you should get your information from tiktok… try just googling the med and look at results from medical facilities

There are many medications for bipolar but I want to mention lithium because it seems strange, but it's a common treatment for bipolar! I don't have bipolar but I am a psych student

This sounds stupid but tiktok search genuinely has good information as long as you watch professionals
