In hs, I wired a bug zapper to my alarm cuz I kept turning it off in my sleep

I highly recommend trying a sleep schedule reset. Before this semester I had a very difficult time getting up before 9am but since I started setting reminders to go to sleep at a good time I’ve been able to wake before 7 without much issue. I hope you find this helpful!

if you have $60 to drop, casio g-shock makes alarm watches that buzz to wake you up. they're all chunky tho

oh really? tmi but growing up i was discouraged from getting accommodations out of fear of discrimination (i was diagnosed at 3). i was taught to suck it up :( but now i’m really really struggling. would it be weird to ask for accommodations as a senior (after years without them)?

I don’t think it would be weird at all. It’s super impressive you’ve gone so long without accommodations, but just because you have in the past doesn’t mean you can’t now. It sounds like accommodations would really help you. I highly encourage you to!

Nope. Autism is a dynamic disability. Sometimes you need accommodations, sometimes you don’t
