I’m having a realization that I might have OCD. I’ve been in a lot of treatment programs recently, and I’m seeing a lot of similarities between me and another person. As well as three therapist that have mentioned OCD-like thinking.

Like for example: we were talking about perfectionism one day and how we related to it. And I was saying how I’m a perfectionist with my hair because I’ll braid and rebraid my hair for up to 2 hrs until both braids are the same thickness because otherwise I will “feel unbalanced” and I won’t be able to focus on anything else. And the therapist said something like “that seems more like OCD than perfectionism.

This is also why I don’t do two braids anymore. Just one.
