Anti-bullying movies fucking suck because the MC is always getting bullied “because he’s a nerd” or “because she’s quiet” but I’m gonna make a REALISTIC anti-bullying movie, mostly ablism against autistic kids.

My only comment is that, in my experience, lolcows tend to be adults. The internet is cruel but there isn’t as much consistent amusement found from children. Part of the lolCOW is that the person doesn’t learn or change, and children are the opposite. They’re expected to be weird, too.

Vewn made a cool short film called Lifewasters that you might enjoy! Her stuff is very weird and surreal

lolcows tend not to have irl friends---this is why they're so chronically online. might be interesting if these are 3 separate stories whose paths eventually cross instead. if they had each other to lean on from the start, they'd have an easier time unplugging, and therefore that critical part of the story would fall apart

more people are addressing this; i feel the weight being taken off of my shoulders because despite the other comments about lolcows being mainly adults, I have had sometimes where I could’ve been made fun of online for having trouble with mental problems, where I went almost delusional & said some things that could be taken as silly or weird.

The cow part is that you can keep milking them. It might be better to change the setting to college, or at least 11-12 grade, OR have the viral video be a one-off thing than a lol COW.

It’s not exactly the same as what you’re talking about, but I do recommend it

I could make them in college, that would be cool too.

Mostly agree, but the animation meme community definitely made lolcows out of children (Birdie, Sashley, etc)

Huh, I see. I had no idea about them. Thank you!

Yeah, that could be fun! And don’t forget — a lot of lolcow people, especially when due to ableism — can be unemployed or at least not in education, so there’s always that route too. Sorry if this derails your whole plot though. Just my 2 cents, I wish you luck!

It doesn’t really, I’m still kinda working on the idea, nothing is set in stone and I appreciate all the feedback I’m getting! ^^

I have also faced bullying due to being autistic as a kid, & I know that there’s people that look at my weird my whole life, but especially as a kid & as a teenager when my problems reached their worst after 2020 after the pandemic when I was stuck inside for about a month basically.

Yep, I can understand that as well. I’ve basically lived my life alone, inside and online, childhood and adulthood. As much as I love the internet, if you haven’t been taken advantage of by it, you got off easy, including me. I hope you’re doing better now.
