My obsession with How It’s Made should have been an autism indicator but I come from a family with an abnormally large number of engineers so it didn’t raise any alarms

I just realized that most of my family are either nurses or engineers, and I was close to picking either orthopedic surgeon or aerospace engineer 😭

I’m the only one who got a diagnosis tho. I started seeing autistic signs in most of my family, but they have no idea, they never got tested or considered it. Idk if I should bring it up lol

I’m also the only one with an official diagnosis in my family and it has been mentioned to the engineers that have the signs but they prefer not to get tested, they all think they’re too old for it to have an effect and I’m not really in a place to tell them otherwise.
