No. A lot of ppl do but no. When i go see fireworks and concerts, my friends don’t wear ear plugs for ear protection or for sensory issues

I got a little upsell this one time i forgot mine. It ended up being fine, but my bestie was like are you gonna be okay, bc they don’t use ear plugs for that

It’s just been a normalized thing since I was literally a child, to give all the kiddos ear plugs to protect our ears and it’s up to us to carry that into adulthood. I definitely don’t think it’s out of the norm at all to use, I feel like it’s one of the most normalized spaces for earplugs (fireworks in particular is what I was responding to). Concerts are a bit different, especially if you’re a headphone wearing like me lolol
