I know I'm overreacting but I'm having melt down over the dress code for my chem lab I hate jeans they're a sensory nightmare for me and I don't feel confident in them or any of the other clothes I have to wear for this I hate this so much I feel panicked

There’s a guy in my labs who only wears basketball shorts but for lab he’ll put on a pair of sweatpants over his shorts then as soon as he is done and out of lab strips them off.

What about cargo pants? It doesn’t have to be jeans, just can’t be skintight. You could just buy normal pants.

that will help sensory wise! but I'll still feel miserable in them bc all I usually wear is dresses and skirts and that's what I'm confident in I know I'll adjust as the semester goes on but the first few labs are going to suck for me
