How do I debunk the “everyone is a little autistic” saying without invalidating someone who could possibly be autistic?

well it’s just not true. some people are on the spectrum some are not. neurotypical people exist outside the spectrum

Autism isn’t a linear spectrum ranging from “completely neurotypical” on one end to “high support needs autistic” on the other; it is like one of those star-shaped personality graphs but instead of personality traits branching from the origin, it’s characteristics of autism

Respond with “yeah, everyone’s got their quirks” doesn’t necessarily agree with them with the term, but also validates their feeling of being “different”. Don’t argue with them it’s a waste of time, if they feel that way they feel that way, if they start using it as identification…cut them off if it feels invalidating to you. Whether you know or not, you’ll always feel that way abt them so why be around em?

Everyone’s different I say, NO two autistic or neurodivergent person are the same. And those people aren’t the only ones who feel left out by society. Just be open minded, they only know how they feel just like you.
